As a family-run business, service has always been at the heart of what we do. Our goal from day one has been simple – to make the mortgage journey as smooth, transparent, and stress-free as possible for every client we help.

With years of experience in the finance industry, we took a leap of faith just before lockdown and launched Mallard Mortgages right here in Waverley. Our mission was to support homebuyers and those looking to remortgage, starting within our local community.

From the very beginning, the response was incredible. The trust and encouragement we received from our neighbours and clients fuelled our passion and gave us the confidence to grow. Within just three months, we welcomed our first additional mortgage advisor. Six months later, another joined the team and the momentum hasn’t stopped since! We’ve helped countless families with Help to Buy remortgages and new-build purchases, many right here on our doorstep.

Fast forward five years, and Mallard Mortgages has grown from a small family start-up into a thriving team of 13, with two more advisors joining in the new year. Every single person on our team is either family, a trusted colleague we’ve worked with before, or someone who shares our values of honesty, care, and professionalism. That’s how we ensure every client continues to receive the five-star service that defines our business.

Our commitment to customer care has earned us multiple awards, including a national title as the 2025 Specialist Mortgage Broker of the Year, a milestone that reflects both our team’s dedication and our clients’ loyalty.

Now, we’re turning the page on an exciting new chapter. With our growing team and increasing client base, we’re delighted to announce that Mallard Mortgages is moving to a new home on Olive Lane by the end of the year!

Our new premises will give us the space to expand our services while continuing to offer face-to-face, telephone, and virtual appointments for clients across the UK. From mortgages and remortgages to insurance and commercial finance, we’re here to help with every step of your financial journey.

We may have started as a small, family-run business serving our local community, but today we’re proud to help clients nationwide, all while staying true to our roots in Waverley.
